The final league game of the season took us to Weoley Hill's fantastic new ground on the site of the old Selly Oak Hospital.
Muni won the toss and decided to have a bowl.
The game started much in the same way as the previous weeks game against Kings Heath with the Muni bowlers dominant. The six over bowling spell at the start from Daanish and Rohan saw them take six wickets for just 14 runs and it looked like it would be a short innings for Weoley Hill.
However a great partnership of 52 from the Weoley Hill pair took the score up to 75 before the next two wickets fell in the same over to the bowling of Advait.
As both sides were playing with 10 men then next wicket, a catch by Advait off the bowling of Jamie saw the Weoley Hill innings end, with a competitive score of 82.
Muni struggled at the start of the batting before Issac and Advait formed a good partnership to take the score to 56, before two wickets went in successive balls and Issac retiring at the end of that over with a great score of 38 which included four 4s and a 6.
Muni still needed 21 runs to win with six overs to go, and it needed cool heads to ensure that runs were added onto the scoreboard without giving the opposition bowlers chances.
Gerard let the way home with a couple of boundaries, with good contributions from George and Alex, before a nerveless Reiss came in and got the required 3 runs to give Muni the win.
A really good game with evenly matched teams that ends the league season on a positive winning note.
